Exactly! It is a wonderful addition to our community - not sure why all the hate. |

| At least the abandon building was quite and I didn't have a bunch of drunks and dopers relieving themselves on my lawn. |

| Your house is worth more now, so sell it and move on already. |

Kind of what I figured. I've never seen or heard any rucus from the joint. Loud talking, yeah. Laughter, yeah. |

| all I said was the acoustics were bad and the benches were hard, that it lacked coziness. That isn't going to be everyone's issue. If you like it there, by all means, go there often, spend lots of money. That's fine. I'm not attacking the place, I'm just saying I hope the next establishment caters to a different demographic. Dining and pub diversity is good, I think. |

Maybe you shouldn't have decided to buy a house next door to commercial property. Thats the thing about commercial, it could turn out to be anything. You rely on your commissions and council to stand up for what the community wants. I was on P&Z at the time Sloans was approved I remember a heck of a lot more residents in favor than not. Like another poster said, put your house on the market and pack up. I want people in Edgewater that are ready to move forward. Sloans filled a spot empty for years. |
