Only a trillion dollars to overthrow a vicious dictator and establish a US presence in the midst of our enemies. Only a trillion dollars, heck Obama can blow seven times that much in the first couple of months in office and what do we have to show for it. More jobs? No. A stable economy? Not yet and maybe not ever. Less tax burden on the "working" middle class? More like a tax credit for the welfare queens. $15,000,000 alone earmarked for ACORN. No cohesive health care plan laid out. All the man does is complain about how hard the job is. We do have a First Dog though, of course Bo didn't come from a shelter as promised. He comes from a kennel that serves the Kennedys. Pesky little things, those promises.
I also was at the Tea Party and I have to tell you, as protest go, it was pretty peaceful. No property destruction, no threats on folks who disagreed. The cops seemed to be having a good time and even though the crowd called for him, the Governor hide out. We may not be the majority yet but the margin is slim and we know how to protest politely. And wouldn't you know it, Gunny Bob showed up. The event started off with the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem, now that should really upset some you lefties and then we mentioned God, right there on the State Capitol steps. 6,000 True Patriots. |

I like your style Patroit. I was also at the tea party and loved the chant to emphasize Under God. It sounds like about two million nationwide.
I'm ready for the next wave with uncle Ted on the guitar. |

God Bless You (dare I say it), Flag. I was really moved by the Boy Scout Flag presented at the beginning and The Pledge. The National Anthem got a little screetchy but not everyone can do eight octaves. I loved the Republ's coming out on the balcony with Ritter backpedaling on the Pinnacle deal inside the State House.
Colorado had one of the most grass root (AstroTurf) showings of all the TP events. 6,000 plus according to the Denver Post and DPD.
We just may have ourselves a MOVEMENT. A deep in the bowls kind of MOVEMENT.
GOD (dare I say it) Bless America and God bless you Flag, you are a true Patriot. |

| The reason given for fighting the Iraq war was WMD's. All proven to be a lie. Vicious Dictator... The same Dictator we supported and sold arms to in Iraq's war against Iran.. One of our good friends that we have in the area is Saudia Arabia.... There's a great democracy. How about the chinese ... I guess you have to talk nice when they own your country... But hey there a democracy too....As to the HSD document you all are crying about. TIMOTHY MCVEY was ex army from the first Iraq war... I imagine he's a hero of yours... His rhetoric at the time matches yours.... |

| I love your logic, because of McVey we must distrust all soldiers therefor all university students are suspect because of William Ayers. As far as Saudi Arabia goes, George Bush only walked hand in hand with the King. There was none of this bowing and hand kissing going on today. I am a bit miffed by your distain of Communist China though, where do you think Obama is going to finance his socialist agenda. Gee, I can't wait till Fidel and Raul come up for a White House sleep over in the Lincoln bedroom. I wonder what theGreat Appologist will do down in Old Mexico, give back Texas I suppose. |

Carter gave him guns, Clinton let him go and W. got him killed. Saddam said he couldn’t understand how we could change leadership every four years. He claimed it takes a life time to get the hang of running a country. Safe to say we must have confused the hell out him.
This thread has been interesting but maybe we need to lighten it up a bit. Don’t forget, we’re all neighbors around here - let’s be kind.

These are all easily confirmed FACTs....Jimmy Carter had nothing to do with arming the Iraqui's.... Ronald Reagan thru Iran Contra promised the Iranians that if they released the hostages after the election they would receive missles. This was brokered by Ollie North USMC. The profits from these sales went to fund a war against a democratically elected government in Nicarauga....Remember we were also arming the Iraquis... There's a really great picture of Rumsfeld shaking hands with Sadamn in 1983 calling him a great patriot for freedom..... Anyway Iran Contra ended in 1992 when President Bush pardoned five people found guilty by Americans of 12 different felonys.... Is a pattern being set for lying and deception among the right???? The president you are condeming has not been in office 100 days. Look at the past of the repub presidents and give him some time.....
