Radio Free AmericaIt is the strongest signal when you are driving in rural areas everywhere. When you can't pick up anything else on AM radio you can still listen to Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity foam at the mouth clear as a bell. Across the middle of Montana, Wyoming or Utah, across the Mid West, across the vast expanse of nothing that is the desert of Arizona and New Mexico and Texas. They are always there. Why is that? Why does fanatic right wing talk radio have the strongest signal when every other voice is drowned out? No public broadcasting network, no CNN news or even BBC news just the twisted rantings of right wing radio.
What happened to fairness in broadcasting and the idea that the people own the air waves? What happened to the idea of equal time for differing points of view? I want the FCC back. I want them to do their job for a change!
I think it is time to stop the brainwashing of our rural country men and I intend to write a letter to my Senators and draw this issue to their attention.
