Polar Bear Politics

It has been making the rounds in the blogosphere that Sarah Palin will single handedly destroy the Polar Bear.  Here is the truth:

Snow

It's true.  We are warm, fuzzy and not very cuddley.  Kind of like a good Democrat.
Klondike

Were cute too.  Kind of like the Governor of Alaska.  And we eat red meat.  Innocent little baby seals are our preferred main course but young caribou will do just fine.  We don't do our deed in the woods either, we dump on the fragile tundra or pristine snowfields.
If you should run into one of us in the wilds of ANWR, it is not we whom are endangered.

Now, now Klondike, we aren't all that bad.  We have only killed five humans in North America since 1900, whereas, the black bears have killed 52 humans and brown bears (including Kodiak, Grizzly and Mexican Brown) have killed 50.  We stand on our record as the friendliest bear in North America.  Just goes to show you that white haired does equate to mean or stupid.  And just like the current political campaign, our Alaskan numbers are climbing.
Contrary to popular opinion, we basically ignor oil wells and humans in general.  It's a lot more fun glisadeing down a glacier into the Artic Sea and eating the occassional baby Harp Seal.
Paul the Penguin

You Monsters killed my whole family.  All we were doing was entertaining a film crew with our loveable antics.  Oh the humanity,  err..... the penguinanity.
Klondike

Excuse me, Penguin lips, there are NO Polar Bears in Anartica and there are NO liberal egg tucking Penguins in the Artic.  Next thing you know you will be blaming us for global warming and the economy.  You don't fool anyone dressed in your elitest tuxedos, you sir are a bird brain.  You don't even have a government down there.
Hobama Harp Seal

We must ask the upper 1% of our population to sacrifice their children to the Polar Bears in order that the lower 99%  can feel safe that their children will swim the vast expansis of the Artic Sea.  The fat Seals must pay their fair share, they must make the ultimate sacrifice.  It is their duty!  And it is my calling.  Make me King and I will bring the Polar Bears to their knees.
Snow

Hehehe!  Break out the ketchup Klondike, were going to have a feast tonight.  Anyone for a little imported Penguin on the side?
Paul the penguin

Klondike,  That is exactly the kind of specist dogma that I expect from you artic supremists.  You just love the idea of a segragated globe.  Well I got news for you.  You need illegal aquatic birds to be the food that artic wildlife won't be.  I am tired of my brothers and sisters having to live in the shadows.  The times they are a changin and the polar bear elite won't be running the show forever.
Klondike

Paul
You make my point.  We are polorized.
A Fox

We arctic foxes stand firmly behind the Polar Bear Platform.  Polar Bear economics creates a sort of trickle down effect that is advantages to us.  There is nothing more delicous than a three day old caribou carcass from a PB hunt.  Now if we could only get a handle on the health care issue.  One in ten Arctic Fox is infected with rabies.  That is just not right.  So what are you penguins going to do about this health care crisis?
