OK.
1. No. I think that the country is going to come up with a lot of issues during the campaign. We need as much time as possible to learn as much as possible about our candidates for the next presidency. I think McCain is trying to look like a hero when what he is really doing is gasping for air.
2. I am not sure about the bailout. Both parties seem to think it is a necessary evil. I am somewhat comforted that both parties on working on a solution. Do I think every business that fails should be bailed out by the taxpayers? No. Should every person who makes a bad finanial decision (as in getting a mortgage they can't afford) should be bailed out by taxpayers? No.
My concern is what it would do to the nations overall economy and those who have their future invested in the market if these institutions are allowed to fail. I am not an economist, and I am hoping that our leaders of both parties have the best economists working on this issue.
