Daylight Savings Time?It will come before City Council Workshop on January 29th whether the City of Edgewater, it's Citizens, business community and schools should participate in Daylight Savings Time.
Hmmmmmm? Anyone want to comment on this little gem?

Drikin timeHell no! Your cutting into my drinkin time during the Summer. Liquor stores and bars gotta shut down early. Don't that have summpin to do with revenues? Sides it's gonna mess up my TV programs. Course them graffitti type taggers will have to be home an hour earlier acordin to curfue. Dont think my boss down to the recycle plant gonna appreciate it though, what me leavin an hour early and all. Not to mention what it's going to do to the climate.
Course there is an upside, I can hit them bars earlier in the day.

Important stuff! Thank goodness council is on top of it. Well worth the time our attorney is going to spend listen to this one. The whole country has been dupped into thinking moving the clocks saves energy. Someone needs to take a stand may as well be us. No doubt Ritter will follow our lead.

I'll tell you what's with these people on council - Take a good look at tomorrow's agenda and tell me if you see any mention of any discussion regarding Daylight Savings Time?? Harlander, why are you starting these rumors?? For another thing, tomorrow's council meeting is a business meeting, not a workshop. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that the more ridiculous the silly rumor, the more some people will gobble it up and believe it!!

Time in a bottleYep, it's on the Council future work schedule not on the agenda for tonight. So technically it's not a rumor just a timing problem. Hey nobody is perfect, Council proved that last week. The important thing is that the folks know, don't you think Mister Bill? Whether Edgewater is going to be leaping and falling is of major concern to the folks.
