COUNTDOWN TO THE ELECTIONS: FINAL WEEKS COMMENTSObama is the man. He has given us real answers to the hows of moving our economy forward, dealing with global warming, the war, manufacturing, health care, the oil crisis, et al. He is highly educated, cool, calm, extremely knowledgeable in all areas of government, has exceptional people skills, and is willing and desirous to take on this enormous undertaking. He cares about all of us, something we have not experienced in a President for a long time (8 miserable years for anyone other than the elite upper class). Obama has my vote.

How is he going to pay for all those dreams? Oh I know. He is going to tax the upper 5% to redistribute all that wealth to the lower 95%. But wait, won't the upper 5% just move all that wealth off shore? Oh wait, he is going to make some loopholes to help those companies that create jobs here at home. Then he is going to negotiate with Iran, North Korea and Venesuala so that they may buy the goods that we have to sell. Then he is going to invade Pakistan, capture Bin Laden and put him to work in an American sweatshop and make him take sensitivity classes. All of our children will join the Peace Corp to spread love throughout the world, come home and get a college education so they can be over educated for the jobs that the corporations created for the loophole benifits that Barack Steve Obama created.
Now that's a plan.

Biden tells the truthJoe Biden:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ymy0Woaz81U
“Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America.” he told a fundraising crowd in the Pacific Northwest on Sunday. “Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”
“He’s gonna have to make some really tough - I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen.”
Think about how much experience Obama really has. What he has accomplished in his short tenure as a public servant. The fact that he has never had any executive experience, at all. His Presidency will be a recipe for disaster. Are you willing to put your life in the hands of a polished salesman?

For my kids and grandkidsYes. I am.
What I am not willing to do is put my country in the hands of a man that is only looking to top his father and grandfather in the legacy department. He doesn't have a clue how to lead.
I have no idea how John McCain ever was allowed to be in the senate, let alone get a presidential candidacy. Hell, even the Republicans are questioning his judgement. And that says a lot coming from a group who allowed George Bush to spend 8 years in the whitehouse.
I am amazed that America has allowed so much bullshit in the name of patriotism;
We send our children to fight a war that has no meaning, and call them heroes when they come home traumatized and broken, if they come home at all.
We allow big corporations to lie, cheat and steal in the name of business, and then we pay them to start all over again when they hit rock bottom. Meanwhile, the lower and middle classes are struggling to maintain their homes, feed and clothe their children, and save for their own retirements while these bozos are spending our taxes to take vacations and insure their own retirements.
We have given away our legacy as innovators and inventors to other countries and wonder why there aren't any jobs in America.
And the worst thing of all, we are destroying our very existence by denying that our planet is in danger from our own actions.
Will Barack Obama make the changes that we need? I don't know. I believe that he has the passion and the drive to make things better. He sure won't be inheriting much to work with.
What I do know is that John McCain and Sarah Palin do not have our best overall interests in mind. And if you haven't seen that yet, then you haven't really cared enough to look.

in my opinion

What are his policies on immigration?
I still havent heard any of them speak on this. I think they are afraid to. I feel this is the BIGGEST issue facing our Country in the coming years.
It plays into education, economy, safety ,health , security and just about every aspect of our society. But yet they do not talk about it.
If you do not speak up you will just be giving a silent yes to letting the undocumented that are running our Country into the ground continue to do so.
Whats their plan?

Obama just might accend to the highest political office you can buy. No experience needed. Questionable associates? No problem. Lying? Not an issue. Voter registration fraud preffered. Stealing from one to give to another? Desired. Befriending the enemy? An absolute requirement. Just bring in those big bucks and sell that puppy. Everyone wants a used car from slick Barry. Push, pull or tow it from the lot.

Sour grapesI am one of the hundreds of thousands of average citizens who have donated $20. here and $10. there to the Obama campaign and I resent the insinuation by the above poster that there is something tainted about my donation to the candidate I support. Barack has not taken any money from lobbyist and that is a big reason why I support him.
As for the rest of your lies, go chew your sour grapes somewhere else.
