Council Prez wants legal brothelsLast night our very unique council president suggested a return to our early history. Edgewater was built on bars and brothels. He is of the mind that this may be a way to preserve history and make some money for the city at the same time.
I think that this should be brought up before the historical commission. I wonder if Connie would be the one to head up this project. She would make a very good brothel madame don't you think? Afterall, she is very interested in Edgewater history. What better than to go back to the real roots?
OK, council president. I take back all the nasty things I have said about you in the past. Sometimes you do come up with great ideas.

Historically SpeakingI was listening closely when Cooke gave a presentation about what "Home Rule" meant about a year ago.
I seems to me that if we have a historical claim to brothels, we should be able to legalize whoring without the State getting in the way!
