That's what I'm talking about. No experience, cheap candidates!
And look at the hiring process. I mean really. Can't we get some of the locals to choose their manager? I'll bet Miss York would like to be involved. And what about the Foxes? They would know who to pick.
This town is never going to change.

I'm with you, Happy Townsman. Council, you have done a great job so far and I know that you have a greater knowledge of the candidates than given in the public announcement. Look well to your vote, you are setting a precedence for the qualities we seek in our City Manager. This may well be the single most important decision you make in your political carrier. Our trust is now in your hands and thank you for a job well done.

Maybe we should force all of the candidates to read every post on the Talking Stick. Any of them with any sense will withdraw their application before going one step further!

Too late, during a public meeting, Council President already told the search firm to tell the applicants to read the Stick. He then gave out the web address right there in chambers.

Welcome to the insane asylum. I would be curious to get the successful candidates impression of Edgewater after serving for six months.
