I am ECSTATIC by these results. I also am laughing that Sarah got more votes than Bonnie, especially since Bonnie voted against Sarah earlier this year. The voters have spoken - time for CHANGE!!!
Laura Keegan

I'm so proud to be elected. Thank you. I will serve you well. I'm very pleased with the results and am looking forward to working with this wonderful council.  I think I'm glowing even!!!!

It would be interesting to know what the total BALLOT count was. Does anyone know how to find that out? It would be more interesting to see what percentage each candidate - including the mayor - got out of the ballots cast so we knew what percentage of the actual voters support each of the candidates and the mayor.

Laugh as you might, but Bonnie did get almost three-quarters of the votes which is more than Laura, Devon, Adam or George.  And people didn't even have to vote for Bonnie at all, but they did.

That wasn't my point. Bonnie cast the tie-breaking vote against Sarah when she applied to fill the vacated council seat. Now in the election, Sarah (running against a slew of other people) gets more votes than Bonnie (running unopposed!) I think that sends a message!

Congratulations to all the candidates!
This is the newest council within the new form of government. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
I think we have a good group of people in Admin as well as elected officials.
Hang on Edgewater. Here we go!!!

Unopposed and not campaigning, the Mayor's vote totals mean nothing. This is just spin.

Don't forget our Boards and Commissions, good people there as well.  How about making an effort to recruit people to fill the vacancies Madam Mayor?  Lets make the next two years the best ever.

Maybe she doesn't think she is getting paid enough to do anything more than kiss babies and pound a gavel.

And dole out minutes at the Council meetings.
