Wow, it has been an interesting year, what with hiring a new City Manager and all. We need a little diversion, one of my favorite songs of careless summers days is
"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."
There is nothing like a good old baseball game to relieve the stress of mundane business. |

Just checking.
What the heck are they grow'in at the Moreno's. Seems like she has enough diversions. Anyhow; June: It goes a little more like this: Cause, its root..root, root for the Rockies if they don't win...
Wow, it does seem like the stick died in a matter of hours. The Farmer has stepped aside intentionally since, we don't know the difference of reality or comedy. Hopefully, things can return but, not, on the same issues. New, Good Edgewater issues...possibly, or are they just diversions.
Love ya June,
Love ya Edgewater,
The Farmer

Iam particularly interested in the Rockies July 26th game. It will be interesting to see who fouls out, who is sacrificed and who slides. And what about the Umpire? Will he call a fair game?
I just loooove baseball. |

I can see that June really does love her games.
They can be awfully pricey. |

Who's on first, What is on second and I dunno is on third.
Ticket prices? Now, there's a topic that could get heated or quite depressing. Back in 95' when Coors Field opened up, all of the Club Level seats were the same price $27.00. I'm not sure when they changed this but, now they have two different prices for in-field and outfield on Club Level which are $50.00 and $55.00. (whistle) Of course, if you'd like to watch all the other people watching the game there's always the Rockpile $4.00 gets you in, and a sweet aluminum bleacher seat but, you will be sitting with the greatest fans.
I love baseball. I especially like listening to it on the radio. The set-up and the color men. Colorado is blessed with fantastic radio coverage.
Maybe next time I'll bitch about the concessions,
The Farmer
PS. If you remember I mentioned the stick dying? Where is the Guest, who comes in whinning Moderator, Moderator these people are talking about Baseball in the wrong forum.
