Hey all,
The Farmer is NOT much of a movie goer but, would consider the Theatre more so if refferred by one of my neighbors.  We like to argue about many things and DOG one another (secretely). Here is a chance to voice an opinion that is strictly yours and are welcomed to the vile redicule that all open themselves up to when they type on the stick.

Go to the Movies,
Enjoy,
Report back here,

COOL has no location,
The Farmer

The Farmer will hopefully make two consectutive posts and be the only three posts on this thread.

For those readers that were in attendance at the recent Council meeting you got the 2009 schedule of "Movies in the Park".
I think she changed vendors and has a local company now. Way to go pr director.

Here is "The Farmer's" bitch.  Thank you for the publics input?  There is no way this schedule of movies was chosen by the people that live here.  High School Musical 3.......you can't be serious.

It is getting older than old,
Start listening,
The Farmer

The Farmer's family was privileged enough to come accross tickets to a pre screening movie. If you get the chance, don't pass it up.
The movie was "Imagine that" starring Eddie Murphy.

Feeling on this whole movie review thread, is this: Wasted valued entertaiment dollars, got my monies worth or it changed my life and it is a must see.

I payed no money for my tickets therefore, I got my monies worth.
Had I payed, I think I still got my monies worth.  I don't believe giving away critical information.  This is what I will tell you: Eddie is Eddie, it takes place in Denver...all the land marks you know and the icons your familar with (a plus), it really is a good kids/family movie.  There are several actors that you will also be familar with.

I saw Night at the Museum on the IMAX screen.  It was fun.  Not much focus on the logistics of the events but there was a ton of creativity.  It even had a moral or two thrown in.  Anything on the big, big screen is cool.  I had a great time.

Was it worth the money?  I didn't have to buy the ticket, but even if I had I would have no regretes.  Walking away feeling good makes it worth the price of a ticket in my book.

Passengers starring Ann Hathaway  was really good and worth the home rental fee

A grief counselor (Anne Hathaway) begins to suspect foul play when the six airplane crash survivors she is tending to mysteriously begin to disappear and the truth behind the tragedy grows ever more clouded in Nine Lives director Rodrigo García's conspiratorial supernatural thriller.

Loved Rachel Getting Married, too. Another Ann Hathaway movie. What a talented actress. Odd and tormenting, quirky. Worth every penny.

'Rachel Getting Married' is a contemporary drama with an aggressive sense of humor about the return of an estranged daughter to the family home for her sister's wedding. Kym's (Hathaway) reemergence throws a wrench into the family dynamics, forcing long-simmering tensions to surface in ways both hilarious and heartbreaking. 'Rachel Getting Married' paints a colorful, nuanced family portrait and is filled with the rich characters that have always been a hallmark of Jonathan Demme's films.
