| You can't stir the dirt or rip up the asphalt until you go through all the site development processes with the city. they are working on it. |

| Read Section 10A of the Agreement (posted on the City's website). It says that construction must commence on or before December 31, 2008, or the Ice Ranch has the option to either pay the City $1,411,732 or return the property to the City. |

Given the present state of our economy, in general, and specifically the widespread scarcity of bank financing, I am not all together surprised The Ice Ranch may be having some difficulty with financing. Everyone is. However, the Ice Ranch proposal is still the best proposal for 20th and Depew and I hope the citizens and our City Government remain supportive of this endeavor. The City doesn't pay taxes or incur many expenses on the property (OK, they have to mow and water that tiny strip of lawn) so we can afford to be patient.
The economy is not The Ice Ranch guys fault. That blame belongs in another thread... I support this project and I'm pulling for them! |

So is it fact that they are not proceeding with the project due to financing? Or is that just another rumor.
